However, unlike in Karachi, there are no public events planned to display the trophy in the city. The PCB has mentioned that any changes to this plan will be announced if they happen.
Journey Through Karachi
Before reaching Lahore, the Champions Trophy had a fun-filled three-day tour in Karachi. The tour started at the National Stadium Karachi, where fans got a special chance to take photos with the shiny trophy. After this, the trophy traveled around Karachi, visiting many famous places to create excitement among cricket fans. One of the popular stops was Burns Road Food Street, known for its tasty food and lively atmosphere.
Pakistan and Beyond
The journey of the ICC Champions Trophy in Pakistan began on November 16 in Islamabad. The trophy then visited other cities like Abbottabad and Murree before moving to Karachi. After Lahore, the trophy will head to Afghanistan on November 26. The global tour will continue with stops in Bangladesh, South Africa, and finally India. The trophy is expected to return to Pakistan on January 27 for the last part of the world tour before the tournament starts.
